BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wisconsin — River Valley Title Group has hired Stephanie Nortman to serve as the resident closing specialist at its new Black River Falls office. As a licensed Wisconsin attorney, she will also serve as a legal resource to the River Valley family of companies.
Nortman graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law last May and passed the Wisconsin bar exam this past summer. During law school, she served on the law review board of editors and focused much of her efforts on real estate law and estate planning.
Additionally, Nortman has served as a privacy consultant for the state of Minnesota Department of Human Services and was a private practice attorney for a short while. She has also volunteered for the Wills for Heroes program, preparing estate planning documents at no cost for veterans, active duty service members and first responders in the Twin Cities metro area.
River Valley Title Group services are available to individuals, attorneys, mortgage lenders and real estate agents throughout western Wisconsin. The company has two offices, including the new location in Black River Falls and its original office in Onalaska.
